   JOKE    THOUGHT    OPINION
We just don’t understand today’s edition of the Joke of the Day!

"These fallen heroes represent the character of a nation who has a long history of patriotism and honor - and a nation who has fought many battles to keep our country free from threats of terror."

~ Michael N. Castle

   THIS WEEK'S POLL
A new report says that 25 per cent of the Wyoming workforce works for federal, state, or local governments. Wyoming has the highest percentage of government employees of any state in the nation.   Should lawmakers at the federal, state, and local levels work at cutting government spending, even if it means eliminating jobs in Wyoming?

President Trump’s proposed budget suggests saving $10 million by allowing wild horses in the West to be captured and sold to foreign slaughterhouses, which then turn them into food.   Currently, wild horses have to be adopted, and can not be slaughtered for meat. Should wild horses be sold for slaughter?

A group called Wyoming Promise is collecting signatures on petitions that would call on Congress to propose a 28th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. The Amendment would overturn the Citizens United decision, and specify that the right of political speech is enjoyed only by natural persons, not corporations or other organizations. The Amendment would also say that Congress and state legislatures may regulate political contributions and spending. Citizens United gave the right of political speech to corporations and other organizations and limited government regulation of campaign spending.   Should the Constitution be amended to overturn Citizens United?

Yes, overturn Citizens United
41.4%

No, do not overturn Citizens United
58.6%
